Congratulations to the Ship Inn PC's Peter Beresford and Horton's Phil Taylor on becoming the Great Western Region Doubles champions for 2009.
The competition was held at Horton on the 31st May, and eight teams contested the pool games and knockout phase. Peter and Phil were unbeaten on the day to emerge as worthy, if somewhat unexpected, winners.
